But, in general, it's probably best to keep a single brick wall, also called a single skin wall, to around 1 meter high, or between 3 and 4 feet. Limiting it to that height reduces the risk of structural instabilities. If you're only using a single skin, the weaker your wall becomes, the higher you go.
Single skin walls are suitable for walls 500mm in height or lower.
As a general rule of thumb, expect to build a single brick wall up to 7 feet before putting in extra support systems.
A brick wall normally go up to 2.6 - 3 m (8.7 - 10 ft) without reinforcement.

In general, 2 x 4 wall framing is structurally sufficient for many small garages and sheds. When bearing wall heights do not exceed 10 ft. 2 x 4 framing is generally code compliant.

Properties that have a single layer of brick for a wall, or the entire building, are known as single brick, or single skin, construction. They're different from buildings made with a cavity wall which features 2 layers of masonry, each being usually around 4 inches thick.
Unreinforced SRWs typically can be built up to 3 to 4 ft (1.0 – 1.2 m) high, or less if poor soil conditions or surcharges loads are present. When the maximum height of the gravity SRW system is not sufficient, the design engineer should consider using a reinforced structure and incorporate geosynthetics.
The position of openings must be anticipated to ensure correct and even bonding occurs: both horizontally and vertically. Avoid overstressing mortar by building rises of no more than 1.5m per day. Both leaves of a cavity wall should be built at the same time to avoid incorrect coursing and potential.
Depending on the ground conditions, for a single block dividing wall, a standard 600mm x 225mm strip foundation would be suitable. Prepare the cement and lay the foundation. You'll need to dig a hole twice the thickness of the breeze blocks to set your foundation in.
Cost is a major concern: Single skin is the more economical option. Thermal insulation is essential: Double skin provides superior temperature control. Noise reduction is a priority: Double skin offers better soundproofing. Creating a professional office space: Double skin offers a more aesthetically pleasing finish.
Building code requirements: Pony walls must comply with local building codes, especially if they guard stairs or balconies. As mentioned earlier, in most cases, these walls must be at least 36 inches high and withstand a 200-pound side load.
It will crack along the mortar joints and even crack the bricks once one gets started. Single layers can be used for short walls a couple feet high but become unstable the higher you take it. It will also require double layer pillars every 6–8′, or some other form of vertical support.
Typically, in residential construction, the standard wall height is 8 feet (or approximately 2.4 meters).

Because Superior Walls are custom made for specific home designs, wall lengths vary. Maximum wall length is determined by panel weight, allowable crane reach and foundation geometry. The standard wall heights are 4′-0″, 4′-8″, 8′-2″, 9′-0″, and 10′-0″. Not all wall heights are available in all areas.
Existing 2 x 4 walls do not preclude a second floor, but they must be looked at carefully (visually and by calculation) to assure that they will accept additional load.
While 2×6 walls are more structurally sound, they are rarely needed. 2×4 construction is strong and structurally sound, especially when working with a custom home builder that uses premium materials.
In nonbearing exterior walls, 2x6 studs spaced at 24 in. on center can be up to 20 feet in height (Table 3). Framers and builders may be reluctant to switch to 24 in.
