Cleaning BALLARINI cookware is a breeze with these steps. For best results, handwash using a mild dish soap and a soft sponge, avoiding abrasive materials. Stubborn residues can be soaked in warm, soapy water before gently scrubbing. Refrain from using metal utensils to maintain the non-stick coating's integrity.
Clean the pot/pan with warm water, liquid dish soap and a soft sponge or brush. If food remains stuck in the pot/pan, it is advisable to soak it in warm water and dish soap, overnight if necessary.
Steps: Fill the pan with hot water and add a couple of tablespoons of dishwasher detergent. Let it soak for several hours or overnight. Scrub the pan with a non-abrasive sponge and rinse well. If the above methods don't work, consider using a commercial cleaner designed for non-stick cookware.
Use a soft sponge or cloth to gently scrub the surface. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that can scratch the non-stick coating. For stubborn spots, mix baking soda with water to form a paste, apply it to the grease, and let it sit for 15 minutes before wiping clean.
Apply a 1/2 mug of white vinegar into the pan, then add hot water until it's about 2/3rds full. Once you have filled the pan, turn on the stove and let the liquid simmer for five minutes. Turn off the stove and place a paper towel in the pan to soak in the remaining residue and caked-on grease.
Mixing vinegar and baking soda causes an immediate chemical reaction. This reaction forms water, sodium acetate (a salt) and carbon dioxide – the fizzy part. The amount of carbon dioxide gas that is produced from baking soda is remarkable – one tablespoon (around 18 grams) can release over five litres of gas!
Be Careful with olive oil
Please remember that olive oil, extra virgin olive oil, butter and oil sprays quickly start to smoke and burn when the pan is hot. This causes carbonization of the pan, which can damage the non-stick layer.

Cookware company Farberware recommends combatting cooked-on schmutz and stains with a “cleaning cocktail.” To do so, add ½ cup vinegar and 1 ½ cups water to your nonstick pan. Then, cook the mixture over medium heat for 5-10 minutes to remove stuck-on food particles.
You shouldn't use Bar Keepers Friend on delicate surfaces, such as marble, wood, cast iron, nonstick pans, painted surfaces, and other things that scratch easily.
Method 1: Baking soda + vinegar
Benefits: This method uses affordable pantry items most people have on hand. How it works: Fill your dirty pan with equal parts water and vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Remove from heat and let soak for up to 15 minutes.
Pour enough water to cover the bottom of the pan, along with a 1:1 ratio each of both white vinegar and baking soda (we like to use 2 tablespoons). Bring the above mixture to a boil and stir to dissolve using a silicone or wooden spoon. Continue stirring for 5 minutes to encourage any burnt residue to loosen.

“The most nontoxic cookware that you can buy is stainless steel, cast iron or carbon steel; things that don't have a coating on them,” says Alexis Pisciotta, culinary purchasing and events manager and cookware consultant for Food Network.
In addition to Teflon, other name brands of PTFE include Eterna, Autograph, Granitium, and Greblon, which are PFOA-free and non-toxic.
In 2019, a lawsuit was brought against GreenPan claiming false advertising and concluded with no findings of liability by the company. The case was dismissed. What we said about our products is true. Thermolon coating is free of PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium.
Which cooking oils are healthiest? Skousen says she recommends avocado oil and extra-virgin olive oil, particularly for anyone who wants to reduce their risk of cancer or cancer recurrence. “These two are high in heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids,” she says.
Then, we removed GreenPan entirely from our list of non-toxic cookware. There were two primary reasons: Competing brands began providing independent laboratory testing to prove their products are non-toxic. We became aware of lawsuits against GreenPan that cast doubt on the company's marketing claims.
Adding vinegar directly to the wash with your laundry detergent may compromise its cleaning performance. Laundry detergents are formulated for specific pH levels, which may be disrupted by the acidity of vinegar, leading to less effective cleaning. It's best to avoid mixing them to ensure optimal results.
White vinegar, also known as distilled vinegar or spirit vinegar, is made by fermenting grain alcohol (ethanol) which then turns into acetic acid. Water is then added to the vinegar, so white vinegar is made of five to ten percent acetic acid and ninety to ninety-five percent water.
