Leave for 1 to 3 hours and rinse off dead mites with plain water.
Alcohol. Spray your plants with alcohol to kill spider mites. Using 70% isopropyl alcohol is an effective way to get rid of spider mites. Simply spray your plant down with the alcohol and the spider mites will die off.
Does alcohol kill fleas? Only if they are swimming in it. You have to pick them off one by one and drop them into a container filled with alcohol, which is not effective flea control. Never pour or spray alcohol on your pet, as it can seriously harm them.
Neem oil, dish soap, and water solution
Neem oil is a versatile natural pest repellent and is particularly effective against spider mites. To use, I mix a neem oil with water and dish soap which acts as an emulsifier. Here's the proper way to mix and apply neem oil: Mix 1 tablespoon of neem oil in 10 oz of water.
The solution to a mite infestation is to eliminate the hosts, usually rats or birds. The mites will survive only two to three weeks without their hosts. Rodent control, including rat proofing buildings, offers a permanent solution to a rodent mite infestation.

My mixture for Dawn Powerwash is 1 cup water, 1/4 cup Dawn dish soap and 1 Tablespoon rubbing alcohol.

Does vinegar or baking soda kill dust mites? Although baking soda and vinegar can help remove mattress odors, neither can kill dust mites. Baking soda may help absorb moisture from a mattress if you want to sprinkle some on before vacuuming, however.
