Colgate-Palmolive Recalls Fabuloso Multi-Purpose Cleaners Due to Risk of Exposure to Bacteria | CPSC.gov.
On February 8, 2023, Fabuloso® announced a recall of some of our Multi-Purpose Cleaners made in the United States because a preservative was not added at the intended levels during manufacturing. With inadequate preservative, there is a risk of bacteria growth in the recalled products.
A search for "Fabuloso" on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission website did not return announcements of any other recalls for Fabuloso products, which means that there was not an active Fabuloso recall in late 2024 in the United States.
The lead plaintiffs were Elizabeth Dixon, Jeannie Patora, and Arnold Thomas, who claimed they were deceived about the safety of the products and exposed themselves to harmful bacteria in Fabuloso bottles, which were removed from store shelves due to the serious health risks the products posed for consumers.

The low-cost product — which urges consumers to "fill your home with joy!" — got its start in Venezuela in the 1980s. It made its way to Mexico in just three years. By 1996, it landed in the U.S., where the Latino diaspora hooted and hollered over the product.

There's no need to rinse your vinegar-mopping solution from your floors. Keep in mind that your floors should be drying very quickly if you've wrung out your mop sufficiently.
