Many people automatically presume that if it's already raining there is no point in cleaning the window – but this is not the case! Unless the wind is too strong or the rain is torrential we will still be along to clean your windows, as it's mainly a mixture of wind and rain that really makes your windows dirty.
The only consumable the pure water system uses to clean windows is pure water, which is completely harmless to your property, garden and the environment – unlike traditional methods which use harsh chemicals and detergents.
Should a window cleaner dry windows? Drying windows is time-consuming, laborious and often doesn't leave a great finish. If they've been cleaned and rinsed with pure water, windows can be left to dry naturally, without the risk of smears – just wash and go!
If your window cleaner uses filtered water on the brush thingy they don't need drying, if they use ordinary tap water they do as residual stuff in the water leaves water marks.

You can also make an all-natural window cleaning solution using a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and hot water. Adding a touch of liquid soap to the vinegar solution will help remove any streak-causing wax left on the window from commercial cleaners used in the past.

Dish soap is perfect for cleaning windows with residue and buildup, and you only need a few drops of dish soap to get the job done. If you're cleaning inside windows, use a spray bottle and if you're washing exterior windows, use a bucket.
Both a washing and a cleaning should leave you with streak-free glass, but a washing is a quick service that isn't as thorough. Window washing usually involves spraying on the solution and wiping it away with a squeegee to remove loose surface debris only. This isn't what's involved in window cleaning.
It's often recommended to spray the window cleaner directly on your microfiber cloth, newspaper, or t-shirt instead of the glass. The reason is that this will help you avoid drips that can leave streaks if you don't wipe them up quickly.
To make your own window cleaner, you'll need a glass spray bottle and an 8-ounce bottle of Jet Dry rinse aid. For best results, use a microfiber cleaning cloth to wipe down windows. If you don't have microfiber cleaning cloths, you can use a microfiber mop instead.
