Resin –the hard facts

No. A steam mop should never be used on a Polished Concrete floor. Nor should one use harsh chemicals such as bleach, citrus products or oils. A microfibre mop is all that is required in conjunction with water or a neutral ph cleaner such as GTA Tough Green.

Traditional Polished Concrete
It is a thick, heavy floor needing generally 75mm-100mm depth as a minimum and you will have to cut joints into the surface to allow the concrete to shrink in a controlled way. It is often tricky to install in residential setting due to the weight and thickness.
