Tiles or planks that are glued down, however, need time to set. This process takes at least 48 hours. Like luxury vinyl, carpet and laminate that is not glued to the subfloor can be walked on immediately. Brands that must be glued down are not ready for furniture for at least 24 hours.

How long does it take for vinyl floor glue to dry? It depends on the levels of humidity in the room where they're laid. Typically, urethane flooring glues take about 12 to 20 hours to get well dried. However, it is a good idea to give it 24 hours before laying heavy furniture on the floor.
Time and temp are key.
For a minimum of 24 hours after your new vinyl floor is installed, protect all the seamed areas, don't walk on them or the seam sealer. Keep the room at 68° F or greater for at least 2 days after installation to allow the adhesives to setup properly.
