A Culligan reverse osmosis filtration system can remove up to 99% of common contaminants found in your tap water, and can reduce lead, arsenic and pesticide runoff.
A higher standard of water
Culligan Water adheres to a superior level of quality to ensure your water is always safe, clean, and delicious. In addition to following guidelines established by the FDA and the EPA, we also utilize ozone filtration instead of chlorine during our bottled water production.
If you prioritize cost and sustainability, tap water is the better option. Regardless, Culligan is your solution for clean and delicious water in your home, from your tap or from bottles.
Culligan Quench RO filtration systems remove total dissolved solids (TDS) from tap water, reduce lead up to 99.3%, and reduce chemical and microbial contaminants through an advanced process using a combination of sediment, carbon, and semipermeable membrane filtration.
Our water is rigorously tested to ensure it meets or exceeds all state and federal safety standards.
The drinking water is the same exact process as the purified water, however, we add calcium, magnesium and potassium back into it. So when it comes to mineral content and pH, it's in between the spring and the pure. The TDS or mineral content of the drinking water is roughly around 10 parts per million.
If your water tastes unpleasant or smells poorly, it is a sign that something may be in your water. A sour, salty, bitter or metallic taste can be a result of high levels of total dissolved solids in your water, most commonly chlorides, sulfates and bicarbonates.
Generally, Culligan Water” does not have fluoride, if the reference of Culligan Water is being used in the context of filtered drinking water from one of its bottled water systems, water dispensers, or home water filter systems and your water is from a municipal source containing fluoride.
Boiling water does not reduce lead levels and may actually increase them. Test your water. The only way to know if lead has been reduced by letting it run is to check with a test. If letting the water run does not reduce lead, consider other options to reduce your exposure.
Furthermore, our reusable bottles are BPA free which means no harmful toxins leaking into your drinking water supply – something that cannot be said for most other brands on the market today!
Spring water is among the healthiest water to drink because it offers several benefits. It is naturally purified from an underground source, which means it is free of harmful contaminants like lead and chlorine. Since it does not undergo added filtration before bottling, it retains the beneficial minerals in the water.
Culligan's advanced RO filtration systems are third-party certified to reduce microplastics by 99.6%.
Culligan Water Sources
Spring Water products originate out of an artesian spring located in Antigo, WI. Fluoridated and drinking bottled water comes from the Brooklyn Park Municipal Systems' deep wells in the pristine Jordan Aquifer. Every water source is tested frequently to ensure quality.
Made in America
At Culligan we make and assemble our products. While some components may come from outside the USA, our products are designed and assembled domestically. We follow strict corporate guidelines that meet and often exceed industry standards.
The three main processes they use are carbon filtration, ultraviolet disinfection, and ozone disinfection. Carbon filtration is used to remove the taste of chemicals and harmful impurities. Ultraviolet disinfection and ozone disinfection kill bacteria, the same ones that Niagara ran afoul of in their plant.
We work with third-party organizations to certify our filtration products meet industry requirements (NSF/ASNI standard 53 for Total PFAS) set by the WQA. Culligan's Bottled Water delivery also ensures safe drinking water for you and your family.
Good news: Brita's Elite™ filter is here to help, removing 99% of lead and more than 30 other contaminants†.
FLUSH YOUR SYSTEM. Let the water run from the tap before using it for drinking or cooking any time the water in a faucet has gone unused for more than six hours. The longer water resides in plumbing the more lead it may contain. Flushing the tap means running the cold water faucet for about 15-30 seconds.
Lead exposure can cause high blood pressure and brain, kidney and reproductive health issues in adults. Symptoms of lead poisoning include headaches, stomach cramps, constipation, muscle/joint pain, trouble sleeping, fatigue, irritability, and loss of sex drive.
A Culligan reverse osmosis filtration system can remove up to 99% of common contaminants found in your tap water, and can reduce lead, arsenic and pesticide runoff. That means better water for your family for both drinking and cooking, without the waste, expense and hassle of bottled water.
97 Many fluoridation systems that used to operate in Eastern and Central Europe did not function properly and when the Iron Curtain fell in 1989-90, fluoridation stopped because of obsolete technical equipment and lack of knowledge as to the benefits of fluoridated water.
✅ Does bottled water go bad? Water is a natural substance and does not go bad, however the plastic water bottle will degrade over time and begin to leach chemicals into the water, which is why it is always important to choose BPA free bottled water.
Bad tasting or smelly water
That foul odor coming from your faucet or showerhead is caused by Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) such as manganese, iron, sulfur, and other chemicals. TDS can cause your water to smell like fish, chlorine, or rotten eggs.
There are a few primary causes of cloudy tap water: sediment and microscopic debris, air bubbles and gaseous solutions, and chemical interactions with disinfection residues.
