Scrub the Bathtub & Shower Top to Bottom
Thoroughly clean your bathtub or shower using a scrub brush and a cleanser designed to get rid of greasy stains and soap scum, such as OxiClean™ Foamtastic Fresh Scent or OxiClean™ Foamtastic Lemon Citrus Scent .
By comparison, OxiClean suggests that you don't leave it on a garment for more than six hours, because it can start to damage the fabric.
Step Two: I let the clothes soak in the OxiClean for about 8 hours (6 hours is recommended but I just let mine soak overnight). Note: I literally let these SOAK.

probably at least a cup of the Oxy Clean and Biz, ½ - ¾ cup of Cascade and ⅓ cup of Dawn. if you are using a larger container, use more soap. then, mix it all up.
If you're DIYing a laundry detergent and you want it to be really potent, then washing soda might be the way to go. If you're looking for a gentler detergent, baking soda is a great option. Oxiclean becomes just peroxide and washing soda once it hits liquid.
Never mix OxiClean and vinegar. OxiClean breaks down into hydrogen peroxide, and mixing hydrogen peroxide and vinegar creates peracetic acid, which can be toxic. What is this? Peracetic acid is corrosive and can irritate your eyes, mouth, nose, and throat.

Oxygen bleach Oxygen bleach (like OxiClean) is an alternative to chlorine bleach, and it's safe for many fabrics. You can use it to remove stains on colors, as well as whites. It doesn't contain scary chemicals and it won't ruin most fabrics—though you should avoid using it on silk or leather.
Oxiclean powder is essentially washing soda with sodium percarbonate, which turns into hydrogen peroxide. It's color safe and works great to get rid of stains and keeps whites white and colors bright. It's also much safer / less toxic than Borax. Borax works well too, helps get rid of stains, and whitens clothes.
How to deep clean enameled cast-iron cookware. “My favorite tip,” Blank says, “is to fill your cookware with water, add baking soda and boil for about 10 minutes. This should eliminate any stuck food particles or stains.” The same method can be used with OxiClean or any other oxygen bleach for an even deeper clean.
Oxygen bleach has safer molecules than regular bleach, and it won't form more cancerous materials like chloroform either. Chlorine bleach is more reactive, and therefore it can damage more things. But non-chlorine bleach, like hydrogen peroxide, is still a chemical that needs to be used correctly. So it's relative.

Vinegar. Vinegar is a safe, all-natural household cleaner with the amazing ability to combat hard water stains. Pour some in a spray bottle and squirt any surface where you find hard water stains. Let it sit for five to 15 minutes to give the vinegar time to break down the minerals in the chalky, white stain.
Whitening linens with OxiClean™
Mix 1 capful of OxiClean™ White Revive™ Laundry Whitener + Stain Remover per 1 gallon of the warmest water recommended by the garment care label. Submerge tough stains, heavily soiled loads, or dingy whites in solution. Soak for 6 hours.
OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover should not be mixed with Chlorine bleach or household chemicals other than in the wash with your regular laundry detergent. To fully optimize the stain removing abilities of OxiClean™ we recommend adding to the wash water in the drum not the bleach dispenser.
Mix 1 scoop (2 tablespoons) with 1 pint of warm to hot water. Mix or shake thoroughly. Product will remain active for six hours. Mix 1-4 scoops of OxiClean per gallon of hot water.
