Removing glue, gum or stickers Need to use it on plastic? Make sure you test in a hidden area first. You can also use the oil to remove water-based glue from carpet with a cloth (full method here). Eucalyptus oil is also super useful for dissolving chewing gum.
Eucalyptus, tea tree, thyme and peppermint oils can all effectively treat receding gums and promote tissue growth.
For chewing gum attached to fabric, shoes or other items, scrape as much off as possible then clean up any residue with a cloth soaked in eucalyptus. This also works for blu tack residue on walls, doors and furniture (always patch test on varnished or painted surfaces first).
Eucalyptus Oil
It fights bacteria, stimulates gum tissue, and helps reduce the appearance of gum recession. It also freshens breath naturally. Add a drop to a small amount of water for a quick mouth rinse, or massage a diluted solution into your gums.
I just took a few drops of doTERRA lemon oil and put directly on the hair/gum. I let it kind of soak in for a about 10 seconds and then I started with the smallest bunch of gum. I just pulled at the gum in small sections and added more drops as needed.
The natural oils in peanut butter work to dissolve chewing gum on fabric and carpet. If possible, remove as much gum as you can with a gum scraper tool or plastic putty knife. Apply a liberal amount (about the size of the gum) of peanut butter to the chewing gum. Work the peanut butter into the gum with your fingers.
While many oils can be used for oil pulling, it's best to choose oils with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties for optimal benefits. Oils like coconut, sesame, sunflower, neem, and mustard are most commonly recommended due to their specific health benefits for the mouth and gums.

It's possibly safe to take eucalyptol, a chemical that is found in eucalyptus oil, daily for up to 12 weeks. But it is unsafe to take pure eucalyptus oil by mouth. Taking only 3.5 mL (less than one teaspoon) of the pure oil can be fatal. Eucalyptus oil can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

This will hopefully let the bone and tissue mend, resulting in your tooth tightening back up after a few weeks. It is still recommended to discuss this with your dentist in case you need more urgent treatment.
One effective method for improving your gum disease and reversing periodontitis is oil pulling. Many individuals have implemented coconut oil into their daily regimen. Thanks to its mild, sweet flavor, coconut oil is preferred as a natural mouthwash over other oils such as sunflower or sesame oil.
To address gum pockets, dental professionals often perform a procedure called scaling and root planing. This deep cleaning technique removes plaque and tartar from below the gum line, smooths the root surfaces, and helps the gums reattach to the teeth, ultimately reducing the depth of the pockets.
