Avoid using high pH soaps such as Dawn dish soap, or soaps that contain heavy cleaners of degreasers. These soaps won't harm the coating after a few uses, but continual use of aggressive soaps and cleaners will expediate the wear of the top layer of coating.
Using dish soap should not be any part of a ceramic coating job.
Products That Include SiO2
Car soaps that include SiO2 are formulated for the unique cleaning requirements of vehicles that are coated. SiO2 offers a protective layer for your ceramic coating and can make a big difference to the hydrophobicity of the paintwork.
Automotive specific products are PH neutral, which is best for washing cars so it does not damage the coating. Dedicated car wash products are also free of wax, which makes it easier to clean your car.
For most types of tile, including porcelain and ceramic, you only need two ingredients—warm water and dish soap. In a spray bottle, combine warm water with a few drops of dish soap. Spray the water and dish soap solution on the tile surface. Wipe the area with a damp microfiber towel or cloth.
A mild detergent is typically a hand dish washing soap that only contains surfactants that dissolve dirt and grease as opposed to a soap that also contains builders, which would be classified as a moderately strong detergent.
Dawn and Fairy are both produced by P&G and are pretty much the same. The coloring doesn't mean anything, it's just dye. In the US, people specify the “blue Dawn” because there are other types with additives that Dawn produces, but they're made to be gentler on hands, and don't clean as well.
With a ceramic-coated vehicle, it is best to use a PH-neutral shampoo such as Americana Global Aftercare that not only leaves a crisp surface but maintains your ceramic coating from being damaged unlike other types of soaps.
pH-neutral shampoos are designed to be gentle on your car's surface. They clean effectively without stripping away the protective layers of the ceramic coating.
Yes, you probably can use white vinegar on a ceramic coating, but we would not recommend it.

The answer is that mild detergents are dish soap like Dawn, Palmolive, etc.
Thanks to it's mild alkali qualities, adding baking soda in laundry can enhance the effectiveness of regular laundry detergent dramatically. Dirt and grease are easily dissolved, while clothes are softened.
Gentle dish soap doesn't only benefit your hands; it's also kinder to the environment. These soaps typically contain biodegradable ingredients, reducing their impact on aquatic life when they're washed down the drain.
Dish soap will not remove ceramic coating, however, you should never use household detergents on your car.
Select the Right Car Wash Soap: Use a pH balanced car wash soap at the very least. The use of harsh cleaning agents like dish soap can substantially reduce the lifespan of your ceramic coating and potentially strip existing paint surface sealants.
Method 3: Dawn Dish Soap and Water
Step 2: Prepare the cleaning solution by combining warm water and a few drops of dish soap in a spray bottle. Step 3: Generously spray the cleaning solution all over the tile floor, then use a flathead mop to wipe it up.
Without routine cleaning, your ceramic coating won't last as long, leaving your car's paint vulnerable to scratches, swirl marks and fading from exposure to harsh UV rays. We recommend using gentle car shampoo, like Hybrid Solutions PRO Pure Wash, to give your ceramic coating a good wash.
The lesson is simple: unless your goal is to strip the ceramic coating off your car, keep the polish away. Car wax and polish are not the same. Car waxes with ingredients like carnauba wax and synthetic shine polymers are perfectly safe to use—and even recommended to use—on top of ceramic coatings.
And, because ceramic coatings can scratch, we recommend hand washing your car using a pressure washer, a premium microfiber wash mitt and a car wash soap that has been formulated with a high volume of lubricating agents.
