Yes, for Masonry Flat you can use a professional-grade airless sprayer (tip of 0.519" - 0.521") or an HVLP spray gun (tip: 1.4mm-1.5mm). New sprayer tips should be used to prevent product waste and provide for a perfect finish. Be sure to clean out the sprayer immediately when done.
You can apply it with a Romabio Masonry Brush or a sprayer. A roller is not recommended. For dilution, you'll need a separate mixing bucket. For the wash off process, you'll need a typical garden hose with an adjustable spray nozzle for the Exterior or a spray bottle for the Interior.
Water-based paints, like limewash, can clog HVLP paint sprayers. So, when you look into limewashing with Romabio, and you're either in the market for buying a paint sprayer or renting one from the home store, we recommend an Airless paint sprayer.
Apply Classico Limewash with the Romabio Large Masonry Brush or a standard paint sprayer. (Rollers are not recommended). One coat is needed to create an antique limewash effect. The paint is a very flat finish, so you can touch up at any time.
Romabio Paints are organic, and they will not harm lawns, plants or trees. Masonry Flat & Masonry Textured are washable, but they should be allowed to cure for 14 days before cleaning.
Slow-Drying Process: Limewashing coats take a considerable amount of time to dry. Erosion: Limewashing will erode over time, meaning it will need to be retouched every five to seven years.
Paints typically dry darker, particularly oil, acrylic, and latex paints. However, that doesn't mean it will look different than what's on the paint swatch. If you mix the paint properly, it should look the same as the color you picked out once it dries.
Apply masonry paint

Painting a brick wall can be challenging due to its porous surfuce. However, this task is much easier with the right tools - a paint sprayer, instead of a roller or brush.
A limewashed exterior can easily last twenty to thirty years in a climate like this. But limewash also works perfectly in colder climates because it allows your brick to breathe. The freeze/thaw process will actually enhance your limewash and you can use Romabio Mineral Shield to extend the life of your look.
To protect the beauty of a Classico Limewash application, it is highly recommended to apply Mineral Shield.

Generally limewash should be applied thinly and be allowed to dry out slowly. Our limewash is prepared from the finest quality lime putty slaked from quicklime. It will develop a fine finish over several coats; we recommend a minimum of 3-4 coats on new render and plaster.
Depending on the surface structure and type of aggregate used one liter of paint will cover approximately 7-10m2 per coat. Maintenance is very easy, simply brush off any dust and apply a fresh coat. There is no need to remove existing lime paint.
Because limewash is nearly 10x darker when it is wet, it's important to test the color and let it completely dry. The color also changes depending on the number of coats applied and porosity of the surface being painted. That said, Romabio's Classico Limewash is a one coat finish that looks breathtaking!
However, if you don't want it to wash off, or if you're using it inside, you'll definitely need to apply a sealant. One way to make limewash and lime paint more waterproof is with a very small amount of linseed oil — no more than 1%.
Use Paint for Masonry
Add Masonry Primer to your Wagner FLEXiO 2000 Paint Sprayer.
You should be sure to first put down a coat of primer on your masonry. These primers are usually oil based. Your primer is going to serve as a protective coat as well as an additional binding agent for your masonry paint.
If you are painting a bare masonry surface that has not previously been painted you should apply a primer before painting. By applying a primer, you prevent the paint from absorbing into the wall, which results in a patchy finish.
Flat paint has a chalky appearance in finish, absorbs light, and can make a color look slightly lighter than the swatch color. Glossy paint will typically make a color look darker because the sheen will reflect the light, causing the color to be darker.
As explained above, dry heat helps paint dry and cure faster. Factors like ventilation, humidity, and temperature all impact the way in which paint dries and cures. To speed up the process; Invest in a heater if your room is too cold.
DON'T paint or stain concrete in the first month.
It takes about a month for all of the water to get used up in the hydration process. Brush on paint too soon while moisture is still rising to the surface, and it can put pressure underneath the hard barrier of paint, causing it to peel away or break the bond.
