I wouldnt use it. It's gone off for 1 reason or another, and good latex paint should smell pleasant not foul. The bacteria are feeding off of the paint, releasing their toxic wastes. Return it for new.
try washing the walls with a mixture of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water, then rinse with plain water and a clean sponge. Allow the walls to dry completely. Follow with an odor-sealing primer. You may need to apply two coats before repainting with fresh (unspoiled) paint.

You can tell paint has gone bad by the smell and texture. A rancid or sour-smelling paint means your paint has gone bad. In particular, the smell of bad paint is similar to sour milk. Other indicators of expired paint include a lumpy or chunky paint consistency.

The exact amount of time it takes paint to dry depends on the climate. In hot, dry cities, paint may dry faster compared with places where the humidity is high, Singh says.
Baking soda
Baking soda is magic. It naturally absorbs smells, so it's helpful in places like your fridge. If you want to use it to cut down on paint smells, pour it onto several plates and scatter them throughout the room. Leave it overnight and then throw it away in the morning.
Anything that looks lumpy, gives off a sour smell, has signs of mold, mildew, or rust, or has a thick skin under the lid is a good indicator that your paint is expired. “Lid skinning is much like pudding where the paint gets a thick skin on top or on the lid that is hardened,” says Hill.
We strongly suggest that you seal over that paint – pronto – with a KILZ solvent primer and then paint your room again. You must seal the old paint to block the smell, which is most likely mold. This sealing process is similar to the fire and smoke abatement methods used in houses with fire and smoke damage.
If however, it gives off a foul, rancid smell you should probably get rid of it (see further down to dispose of stale paint responsibly). The stir stick method can also be used to test if the paint mixes smoothly.
Use Acids Like Lemon & Vinegar
There are several ways to use lemons and white vinegar to fight paint fumes: Mix up lemon water and spray all over the painted room. Put lemon slices or vinegar in a few bowls and spread them all over the space. Simmer a pot of lemon water to quickly fill the whole house.
Both can work, but acrylic paint's elasticity and resistance to wear and tear make it better for high-touch areas and furniture. Latex paint works well for larger indoor projects where low toxicity and easy cleanup with a brush are priorities.
Just like rotten food in your refrigerator, there's usually a harsh smell that accompanies an old can of paint that has gone bad. Physical changes. You might notice the consistency of your paint has changed. There may be a “skin” on the surface or lumps that won't stir out.
If it smells unpleasant or you see mold, you will need to discard it (correctly). And, yes, mold can grow inside a paint can and be a serious health hazard if you put it up on your walls. However, if the paint has an ammonia smell, it's still good.
Most paints last one to two years in an open can. Latex paints can last an average of 10 years in an unopened can. Oil-based paint lasts up to 15 years in an unopened can. The paint goes bad by hardening or becoming rancid when air or debris gets into a can that isn't sealed well.
