Consider using bamboo
For screening, choose clumping bamboo, as it has a neat upright growth habit and only sends new shoots up from the main growing clump. Avoid running bamboo, which sends out underground shoots and easily spreads into neighbouring yards.
Apart from these, there are many more plants that can be used for hedging viz. Palms, Acalypha, Caesalpinia, Aralia, Eranthemum, Lantana Tecoma, Cactus etc.
Green Giant Arborvitae is a classic fast-growing hedge. It is a popular choice for privacy and wind-breaks, and will remain healthy in many areas where other Arborvitae would struggle.
The most natural-looking way to create a natural fence line is by creating a wide, mixed border layered from the tallest plants or trees at the outer edge to the shortest ones at the front of the beds. The bushes and lower plants will give you low screening, and the trees will cover up to their mature height.
To protect the entire property, enhance the attractiveness of the house, and provide an aesthetic aspect. The materials for constructing boundary walls comprise cement concrete, bricks, stone, sand, aggregate, metal panel, wooden panel, polyvinyl chloride and others.
Arborvitae (Thuja)
The most popular trees for living fences are American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis), Arborvitae 'Emerald Green' (Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd'), and the baby giant arborvitae tree (Thuja plicata x standishii 'Virginian').
Plant shrubs or trees can act as a natural hedge. 2 Get a trellis- more affordable than putting up a fence – and great for climbers like Jasmine. 3 Add more trees they offer up so much privacy, act as a stunning focal and give gardens so much character.

Perennial Geranium
Perennial geraniums, also known as cranesbill geranium due to the shape of the flowers, are a type of hardy groundcover that spreads rapidly. The have butterfly-like blooms that float over the foliage from late spring to early summer; some types rebloom.
Sedum or Stonecrop (Crassulae)
There are many (many!) different varieties of sedum and most of them are very hardy. They'll grow fine in poor soil, deal with dry conditions, withstand freezing temperatures, and bloom with little flowers (color depends on variety). They do require full sun, though.
Some of our favourite small plants for the front of borders are ceanothus, cistus rock rose, euonymus, hebe, dwarf varieties of hypericum, lavender, leucothoe, pieris, potentilla, skimmia and vinca.
A boundary tree is a tree whose trunk, roots, or branches break through the invisible barrier extending onto the property or air space of an adjoining owner. In most jurisdictions, each landowner has a tenants-in-common ownership interest in the boundary tree.
Hostas – These are perfect for shady gardens. Their large, dramatic foliage comes in shades of green, offering visual interest and a neat boundary. Sedum – Sedum or stonecrop is a succulent that works well in various garden situations, including edging.

Although fences and brick walls can do the trick, adding an extra divider, screen or plant barrier can block your neighbor's two-story view for good. To create your secret retreat, freestanding privacy screens, wood slat partitions and partially enclosed pergolas are effective (and nice to look at).
The most visually appealing privacy screens are typically made up of various plants. You can choose from a myriad of colors, textures, and heights. Typically, larger trees like the Thuja Green Giant or Emerald Green Arborvitaes make up the backdrop of your privacy screen.
