On a hot day, your car's interior can become extremely hot. Using recirculation mode in conjunction with the AC can help cool the interior faster. By recirculating the cooler air inside, your AC system doesn't have to work as hard to bring down the temperature.
Go Low. Setting to the lowest temp and adjusting the fan makes the car air conditioning more efficient, will dry out the air less, and can actually save some fuel.

Ideally, the AC outlet air temperature should be about 20 degrees cooler than the ambient air temperatures. For example, if the outside temperature is 90 degrees, the AC outlet air temperature should be around 70 degrees to provide effective cooling inside the car.
Your AC has limits, no matter its age, how well it was installed, its manufacturer, etc. As a rule of thumb, when it's 95 out, your AC can cool your house to approximately 70-80. Your air conditioner will be able to cool to about 15-25 degrees from the outside temperature.

Setting your AC to 16°C will cool the room more than setting it to 30°C. However, keep in mind that extremely low temperatures can lead to higher energy consumption and may not be comfortable for occupants. A moderate setting, like around 22–24°C, is often recommended for both comfort and efficiency.
