To fully optimize the stain removing abilities of OxiClean™ we recommend adding to the wash water in the drum not the bleach dispenser.
Don't worry about powder going through the little holes in the drum. OxiClean™ is still there! Always check your washing machine's manufacturer's instructions - do not add OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover to your dispensers but add it directly into the drum of your machine.
Pre soak: Dissolve 1 scoop in 3L water and soak for 1 hour max and then wash as normal or rinse thoroughly. Washing machines: Add to your detergent drawer on top of your usual detergent. For normal loads add 1 scoop, for tough stains use 2 scoops.
For the best results, make sure you put the detergent and softener into the right sections of your detergent drawer. The powder detergent goes into the largest section of the drawer, usually on the left-hand side. If in any doubt, check your washing machine's manual.
If your washer doesn't have a bleach dispenser, add it to the wash water as the washer fills, before you add clothing. Oxygen bleach is most widely available in powdered forms, so you can add it to the empty washer tub before you add clothes.
Add OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover directly to the drum before adding clothing. Don't worry about powder going through the little holes in the drum.
Yes, you can add detergent to the load as well as oxyclean and it will boost the performance of your favorite kind. It's hilarious that the manufacturer responded first, but everyone seems to know better.
Instructions say to use 1-3 scoops (I'm assuming to the actual fill line bc to the top is actually 2 scoops) for wash: 1 for regular, more for larger or dirtier loads. 1-2 scoops for HE. 2-4 scoops/gal for soaking tough stains on garments.
You can add OxiClean to a regular wash cycle, or use it to soak stained clothing for up to 6 hours before washing.
OxiClean cannot be used on wool, silk, leather or anything else that cannot be washed with water. It also is not recommended on rust and other metallic stains because of the oxidation process. I had persistent carpet stains on my staircase.
The Sanitize cycle with Oxi, available on select Whirlpool® washers, uses extra-hot water to eliminate 99.9% of three common household bacteria. ¹ If your washing machine doesn't have a sanitary cycle, use the warmest temperature setting available to optimize cleaning performance.
OxiClean Washing Machine Cleaner With Odor Blasters 4 Count
Ingredients for the Washing Machine Cleaner are identical to the regular stain remover except it has an added "Dispersing agent".
Submerge stained items in solution after dissolved. SOAK 1-6 hours depending on severity of stain, some stains may require more time to soak. For best results, soak for 6 hours. WASH as normal with detergent and OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover.
OxiClean™ is free of chlorine and preservatives, so it's safe on colors and gentle on your clothing – without sacrificing performance or leaving chemical residues. Many detergents break down the fibers and dyes in laundry as they clean, causing severe fading overtime.
Suitable for use in washing machines, for hand washing and soaking or for use as a pre-treatment prior to washing. IN WASH: Add 4 tsp into the washing machine drawer or drum. Use with your normal laundry detergent.
Let stand for 5 minutes or up to a week, depending on the severity of the stain. For set-in stains, allow the spray to penetrate overnight or up to a week. For fabrics prone to color change, do not let stand longer than 5 minutes. Do not treat the garment while wearing it.
Spray and wipe out the inside of the appliance and wash the turntable with warm soapy water. Use OxiClean™ Daily Clean Multi-Purpose Disinfectant on the appliance exterior surfaces.
007washer, if your washer does not have a dispenser, we recommend adding your detergent to the bottom of the drum prior to adding your clothes.
For best results, add 5 minutes after the wash cycle has begun to agitate in order to avoid destroying enzymes and fluorescent whiteners in the detergent. For Oxygen Bleach, add directly to the wash water before the clothes are added.
