For bonding rigid PU, we recommend using polyurethane adhesives such as Araldite 2018 and Araldite 2028-1 and structural acrylics; Permabond TA4204.
All grades of Permabond Cyanoacrylates adhere well to PU. Consider Permabond 2050 and 731 for elastomeric PU, as these toughened grades are less brittle. Use an activator such as QFS16 or CSA-NF to bond PU foam. The activators cure cyanoacrylate faster, enabling the adhesive to cure on porous surfaces.
Note that most polyurethanes do not adhere well to polypropylene, polyethylene, silicone or surfaces coated with fluoropolymers like Teflon.
Other adhesives for polyethylene include cyanoacrylate, epoxy, and UV curable adhesives. Use primer Permabond POP with cyanoacrylate adhesives to bond polyethylene. Cyanoacrylates set almost instantly and provide good adhesion to HDPE provided the surface is pre-treated with Permabond POP primer.

Even though polyurethane is waterproof and weatherproof, if it's left in an area with high humidity levels or temperatures of more than 122° Fahrenheit (50° Celsius), the material will degrade. It should be kept away from these conditions to ensure that it lasts for as long as possible.
Low temperatures can slow the drying process, preventing proper curing and causing the finish to remain tacky for an extended period.
Sikaflex+ Self Leveling Sealant and all of Sika's polyurethane sealants will bond to themselves. The surface of the sealant must be clean. Please allow the product to cure for 3 to 5 days. It will cure to a flexible and elastic consistency.
