Untreated Wood means any wood that has not been treated with any chemical, stain, preservative, paint, oil, or adhesive.
We would recommend sticking to mostly water when you are cleaning your unfinished wood floors. For example, Teak doesn't need any treatment which prolongs its lifespan because it is naturally durable and doesn't have much movement whereas kiln dried Oak does need treating to prevent it from: Losing moisture and shrinking in the summer.
