Sunbeam announced it is recalling thousands of electric blankets, saying that they can overheat and catch fire. The recall involved 43,000 queen-sized blankets that were sold from September 2022 through January 2023. They were sold online at Amazon and at other small, independent stores nationwide.

The FF error code indicates a problem with gradient controls or warming settings. Solution: Unplug and Replug the Power Cord Problem 5: Sunbeam Blanket Blinking “F2” Error The F2 error indicates low current due to a loose connection or miscommunication between the blanket and controller.
Check that the control is tightly connected to the module in the blanket. Re-plug the power cord into the wall outlet. On a digital control, you should see flashing symbols and the display on your control will clear. Your blanket is now reset.

Locate the Reset Button: Some models have a dedicated reset button, usually found on the control unit. Press and hold this button for a few seconds as directed by the manufacturer. Power Cycle: If there is no visible reset button, a power cycle can work as a reset. Turn the control unit off, then turn it back on.
The Error Code 'P' means, that the controller or connector is not connected properly. Please ensure the controller and/or connector are attached to the Heated Throw properly.
