The Bosch dishwasher express wash cycle is typically 30 minutes long. It is the shortest cycle on your Bosch dishwasher and its main purpose is to clean lightly soiled dishes while reducing the overall wash time.
The running time is affected by the water temperature, the quantity of dishes, the level of soiling and the additional functions selected.
Want to speed up a cycle? Combine your preferred programme* with the SpeedPerfect option and the run time will be shortened by up to 66%. SpeedPerfect+ will allow you to reduce the duration of the wash cycle and drying cycle* by up to half the time.
The Light Wash cycle in your dishwasher works for those dishes that are lightly soiled and/or have been pre-rinsed to remove all food particles. A light wash omits a pre-rinse cycle to save both water and cycle time. The Heavy Wash cycle tackles hard-to-clean or heavily soiled items using blasts of heated water.

The 1-hour wash, sometimes called Quick Wash, is great for quickly washing a load of lightly soiled essentials you may need in a hurry. It typically uses higher temperature and more water than the normal cycle to get the job done.
The answer is surprisingly simple: the longer cleaning cycle means that the water does not have to be heated up as much as with programs with a shorter running time. In addition, your dishes will soak longer so that your dishwasher does not use as much water for cleaning in this mode as in other programs.
The Sanitize option on select models increases the time and temperature of the final rinse to eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria, and enhances drying results.
Eco wash uses a slower spin speed and cooler water. This means it uses less electricity, and thus costs less. Quick wash uses more electricity to deliver fast results, at a higher cost.
"Eco-mode" refers to the energy saving setting on a dishwasher. It helps to lower the wash and rinse temperatures during a cycle, thus using less energy than would have otherwise been used to heat the water. Does the dishwasher eco setting impact the quality of the clean your dishes will get?
Choosing eco-mode over regular mode can provide substantial energy savings, lower your electricity bills, and contribute positively to environmental conservation.
