Surface Type: Different tapes are designed for different surfaces, meaning you have to choose one that aligns with your project's needs. For instance, most blue painter's tape is ideal for delicate surfaces like freshly painted walls, while green tape is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Blue tape is also useful for labeling PPE and personal items because it can be easily removed when these items aren't in use. Bundling. Using painter's tape to bundle ropes, wires, cords or other items to keep them organized and out of the way helps eliminate trip hazards and keep the work area safe.
Adhesive is the key element
I love Frog tape because its adhesiveness bonds to all surfaces I work with. The Frog tape Blue bonds to wood baseboards, wallpaper, metal, plastic, stone and yes the rubber molding baseboards found in offices, churches and some residential areas.
Blue tape walkthroughs help homeowners identify potential problems or blemishes before the final walkthrough and closing. Most new homes will only need minor adjustments. But, it's essential regardless for both the buyer and builder to do so they can address any issues proactively.

Fresh paint is dry to the touch only, so we recommend you wait at least 24 hours after painting before applying.
If you have recently painted your walls, this usually indicates that the paint has not fully cured. Stretching the tape as you apply it can also cause it to lift off of the wall. It could also mean that the surface was not properly prepared.
Remove the tape while the paint is still wet for the best results. Depending on what FrogTape® product you use, check how long your tape can stay up. Pull the tape off slowly at a 45-degree angle. If you hear ripping noises, it means you're going too fast.

Once you have your FrogTape firmly in place, you want to put a really thin bead of caulk on the surface of the tape just along the edge to be painted. I typically use a clear caulk which is thinner than a white caulk which has colorants.
A: I usually remove the frog tape approximately 90 minutes - 2 hours after I've applied the first coat. I find if I leave the frog tape on until the paint has fully dried, the edges of the line are not so sharp.

Tape should be removed when it feels dry to the touch, which is ideally about an hour after painting. If it still feels gummy, leave the tape on overnight and remove it within 24 hours, when it finally feels hard and dry.
Apply FrogTape® to wall in the desired area, making sure the tape is straight and level. Press down firmly to seal. With a caulk gun loaded with clear latex caulking, carefully apply a thin line of caulking along the edge of the tape, then wipe away excess with your thumb or finger.
