With a smart algorithm, an additional heater channel and fan system, the hygiene therapy programme fills the drum with hot air to keep the laundry at 60°C to thoroughly sanitize your clothes without water.
The hygiene cycle on a washing machine is a special wash cycle that is designed to remove germs and bacteria from clothing and other laundry items. It is typically used for items that have come into contact with bodily fluids or for items that are heavily soiled or have a strong odor.
Unlike other washers that emit steam from above, it releases steam from the bottom of the drum. So every item in the load is thoroughly saturated as it rises. This loosens ingrained grime and removes 99% of inactive allergens to ensure even deeper cleaning.
Cotton Normal/Uniform is perfect for everyday cotton garments like shirts, pants, towels, and bed linen. Synthetic/Daily program is ideal for synthetic daily wear. Mixed Soiled+ caters to various cotton, synthetic, or easy-care garments, excluding delicate or special fabrics. Cradle Wash is for your delicate clothes.
With high agitation and a lengthy cycle, the Normal cycle is typically the most intense washing machine cycle. Select the Normal cycle for everyday laundry items made of cotton, linen, and durable synthetics, such as sheets, towels, T-shirts, socks, and (non-fancy) underwear.
Delicates
This washing machine cycle uses high levels of cold water and a low spin speed for carefully tending to undergarments, neckties, stuffed animals and delicate fabrics, like some silks. Use this cycle for garments marked as “Machine Washable Silks” or “Gentle” on the care tag.

It depends on your washing machine model's steam function and whether detergent is added to the cycle. Choosing steam can be an extra setting that is added to your wash cycle or a type of wash cycle that kills allergens or cleans the tub, so use a laundry detergent like you would with any other washing cycle.

Hygienic washing
The washing machine adds steam during the cycle and removes bacteria and allergens. If you have a pet hair, dust mite, pollen, or different allergy, buy a washing machine with steam. Make sure the steam function can be used to clean hygienically, not just to reduce ironing and freshen up clothes.
Simply add a cup of white vinegar to an empty cycle and run your machine on the hottest setting. This will help to kill any bacteria that may have accumulated in the appliance.
During the appointment your hygienist will carry out an initial dental hygiene examination. They will then: Scale your teeth to remove any plaque or tartar build-up in those areas brushing cannot reach. Perform a clean and polish to remove any superficial stains on your teeth.
Choose the Right Wash Cycle
A regular cycle is best for sturdy and dirty clothes, while the permanent press setting is fine for the average load. Use the delicate cycle for lacy and loosely woven fabrics. Use hot water for white loads, warm water for the average load, and cold water for bright colors.
The water temperature for Drum Clean+ is set to 70°C, which cannot be changed. Make sure the drum is empty. Do NOT use any cleaning agents or detergents for cleaning the drum. It can cause damage the drum of the washing machine - this applies to Tub Clean as well.
Use a combination of white vinegar and baking soda to naturally clean your washing machine; pour half a cup of baking soda into the drum followed by two cups of vinegar in the detergent dispenser, then run a hot wash cycle. For stubborn grime and odors, consider commercial washing machine cleaners.
What to use: Any high-quality (non-abrasive) furniture/guitar/drum polish/wax should give excellent results on lacquered and covered finishes. Trick Cleaner "wipes" are easy to use and an excellent alternative to spray on cleaners.

Do steam dryers shrink clothes? Steam dryers may actually help prevent clothes from shrinking due to washing and tumble drying. If you're steam refreshing dry clothes, shrinkage can be reduced since they haven't been fully washed and dried. However, steam settings should only be used on washable fabrics.
Wash towels separately from the rest of your laundry. If your towels aren't cotton, avoid temperatures higher than 40°. *if you don't have a cotton program on your machine, use the 'White/Colors' cycle.
After the detergents and cleaning agents have done their work, an extra rinse cycle ensures that all soap residue is completely washed away from the fabric. This is especially important because soap residue can attract more dirt and might also cause skin irritation for some people.
