There are no synthetic chemicals that cure bacterial wilt once it has infected a tomato plant. Instead, farmers and gardeners use specific bactericides, biological controls, and soil fumigants to suppress the disease and prevent it from spreading.
Soil-drenching diluted clove oil solution and hydrogen peroxide-nitric oxide mixed aqueous solution effectively attenuated symptom development of the tomato bacterial wilts as well (Lee et al., 2012; Hong et al., 2013).

The combination of methyl bromide, 1,3-dichloropropene, or metam sodium with chloropicrin significantly reduced bacterial wilt in the field from 72% to 100% and increased the yield of tobacco and the tomato.
Chemical Control
Prothioconazole is the only commercially available fungicide with proven efficacy. Azoxystrobin, prothioconazole and thiophanate-methyl led to the highest values for reduction of Fusarium wilt and did not cause phytotoxicity in watermelons.
