One of the active ingredients in OxiClean is sodium percarbonate (Na2CO3•H2O2), an adduct of sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). This breaks down into hydrogen peroxide when dissolved in water. These ingredients break down safely in the environment and leave no toxic byproducts.
OxiClean says it can be used to boost your laundry detergent cleaning power. Does this mean it is safe for drain pipes like sinks, toilets, laundry machines, tubs etc.? It's fine. It's powdered hydrogen peroxide and washing soda.
Don't use OxiClean on wool, silk, or other off-limits fabrics.
Fill scoop to line 4 per 1 gallon of water. Submerge stained items in solution after dissolved. Soak 1-6 hours depending on severity of stain, some stains may require more time to soak. For best results, soak for 6 hours.

Step Two: I let the clothes soak in the OxiClean for about 8 hours (6 hours is recommended but I just let mine soak overnight). Note: I literally let these SOAK. I did not scrub, I did not stir, I did nothing, nada, zilch, zip, zero. Just walked away and let OxiClean do the work.
Whitening linens with OxiClean™
Mix 1 capful of OxiClean™ White Revive™ Laundry Whitener + Stain Remover per 1 gallon of the warmest water recommended by the garment care label. Submerge tough stains, heavily soiled loads, or dingy whites in solution. Soak for 6 hours.
Getting in between the tiles is hard but OxiClean™ can make keeping your grout sparkling white easy. It's a great bathroom cleaner and grout cleanser.
Soak your shower curtain liner
OxiClean can melt away soap scum, slimy bacteria, and mildew. Make a soaking solution of OxiClean and water (again, half a cup of OxiClean per gallon of water), let your liner soak for about 15 minutes, and scrub any stubborn areas by rubbing the liner against itself.
We would recommend using a solution of white vinegar and water to initially soak your bath. The natural acidity in the vinegar helps to dissolve soap scum and limescale, the normal residues you'll find in a bath. Follow this up by sprinkling baking soda and then spraying your white vinegar/water solution.
Combine two parts vinegar and one part water in a spray bottle and spray the entire bathtub. Allow this soaking solution to sit in the tub for 15 to 20 minutes. For tough stains: place a towel soaked in a vinegar and baking soda paste or hydrogen peroxide onto the stain(s) and allow the towel to sit for up to one hour.
probably at least a cup of the Oxy Clean and Biz, ½ - ¾ cup of Cascade and ⅓ cup of Dawn. if you are using a larger container, use more soap. then, mix it all up.
The OxiClean™ formulation is a combination of ingredients, the key ingredient being sodium percarbonate, sodium carbonate, surfactants and polymer. Combined, these ingredients work together to remove the toughest stains. OxiClean™ does this by: Breaking down stains.
OxiClean lifts stains from coffee, grease, blood, makeup, and more! The next time you notice a stain on your shirt, don't panic—just mix half of a scoop of OxiClean in 1 gallon (3.8 L) of water and soak the item for up to 6 hours. Then, wash it like normal and the stain should be gone.
Don't use more than directed. Using more OxiClean than you need to could result in color loss for your clothes and fabrics.
OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover Free. It's the go-to product for tough stains on laundry and almost any other surface in your home. OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover Free is chlorine bleach-free and color safe.
Soaking the entire garment is your best option if you detect any moldy odor. Fill a large bowl or laundry sink with water. Add one scoop of an OxiClean Odor Blasters product per gallon of water and submerge the clothing. Let it soak for one to six hours, then wash normally with detergent and more OxiClean.
Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide
Create a paste that is one part hydrogen peroxide to two parts baking soda. Apply the paste and allow it to work its magic for at least 30 minutes. Now scrub with a sponge or nylon brush and rinse with warm water. This works wonders on red or black stains.
Fill a spray bottle with vinegar. Apply the vinegar liberally over the stained area. Wait about 20 minutes, then wipe away the stain with a sponge. Rinse with warm water.
- Fill tub with HOT water - Add 1 cup of Oxiclean - Let jets run for about 15 min - Fill with cold water and run for 5 min to rinse - Drain - Repeat if needed (I am unsure if this will damage seals, etc.... use at your own risk) I had previously used the Cascade/ bleach routine every 3 months.
