Culligan Bottled Water exceeds or meets every U.S. and all state health requirements. The U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) provides regulations for bottled water as a food product, compared to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) which sets regulations for municipal water.
Culligan Water adheres to a superior level of quality to ensure your water is always safe, clean, and delicious. In addition to following guidelines established by the FDA and the EPA, we also utilize ozone filtration instead of chlorine during our bottled water production.
Drinking tap water can be considered better than RO water because tap water contains a lot of minerals like calcium, magnesium etc. which are good for healthy and stronger bones. Apart from this it contains several other minerals which are necessary for our body.
Our water is rigorously tested to ensure it meets or exceeds all state and federal safety standards.
The drinking water is the same exact process as the purified water, however, we add calcium, magnesium and potassium back into it. So when it comes to mineral content and pH, it's in between the spring and the pure. The TDS or mineral content of the drinking water is roughly around 10 parts per million.
Most Culligan water providers choose to purify water through reverse osmosis, which uses pressure to push a solution through a semipermeable membrane. This barrier allows fresher water to pass through and keeps salt and other large molecules behind.
Made in America
At Culligan we make and assemble our products. While some components may come from outside the USA, our products are designed and assembled domestically. We follow strict corporate guidelines that meet and often exceed industry standards.

Alkaline water may be one of the healthiest waters to consume. The pH level of regular drinking water is a neutral 7. Alkaline water has a pH level of 8 to 9.5. It contains properties that may even protect your body from free radicals, which are often linked to inflammation and many chronic diseases.
The EPA regulates over 80 contaminants—including arsenic, e-coli, cryptosporidia, chlorine, and lead—that may be found in drinking water from public water systems. While the EPA says that 90% of US public water systems meet its standards, you may want to use a water filter to further ensure your water's safety.
The three main processes they use are carbon filtration, ultraviolet disinfection, and ozone disinfection. Carbon filtration is used to remove the taste of chemicals and harmful impurities. Ultraviolet disinfection and ozone disinfection kill bacteria, the same ones that Niagara ran afoul of in their plant.

97 Many fluoridation systems that used to operate in Eastern and Central Europe did not function properly and when the Iron Curtain fell in 1989-90, fluoridation stopped because of obsolete technical equipment and lack of knowledge as to the benefits of fluoridated water.
A Culligan reverse osmosis filtration system can remove up to 99% of common contaminants found in your tap water, and can reduce lead, arsenic and pesticide runoff. That means better water for your family for both drinking and cooking, without the waste, expense and hassle of bottled water.
If someone is exposed to levels higher than this for a long time, it can cause a condition called skeletal fluorosis, in which fluoride builds up in the bones. This can eventually result in joint stiffness and pain, and can also lead to weak bones or fractures in older adults.
Distilled water is one of the healthiest water types to drink due to several benefits: Purity: Distilled water is very pure. It doesn't contain the contaminants often found in tap water, like pesticides, heavy metals, or germs.
Culligan Premium Drinking Water is derived from an approved source and then purified by a six stage filtration process. This multiple stage process includes pre-carbon filtration, ion exchange, particulate filtration, reverse osmosis, post carbon filtration, and micron filtration.
On average, Culligan water softeners have a life expectancy of 10-15 years, but this can vary depending on water quality, usage, and maintenance. Regular servicing can help your water softener reach its maximum lifespan.
