They are sturdy and very well made. I think you have to do a lot of damage to them in order for them to fail. The first Zero-G hose I bought has successfully lasted 2 winters in Ohio, and they won me over big time. You can definitely tell they did not skimp on the quality of materials or manufacturing.

I cut off the male ends of both hoses and bought two 1/2" brass male couplings. Cut off the end of the Zero G hoses and installed the brass male couplings with steel hose clamps. Works fine for now buy I will never buy a Zero-G hose again unless they change to brass couplings.
