Disarm: Press OFF and enter your Security Code. This will turn off any alarms, as well as disarming the system. TIP: Make sure all windows and doors are closed before arming the system.
An ADT Alarm System's low battery beeping can be silenced by pressing the ``OFF'' button or ``#'' button on your keypad.
Remove the AC power to the home alarm console from the wall directly. Use your console's access key (or another item such as a small screw) to unlock and open the system's backing. Lastly, disconnect at least one of the wires that are attached to the system's main battery, which is blocky and noticeable in most units.
To do this, do the following steps:
Locate the ADT alarm control panel (it's usually located in the utility room or basement)On your ADT keypad, press the [OFF] or [#] button to silence the beepingOpen the control panel with a screwdriver. Disconnect the battery from the ADT circuit board.
When the alarm is triggered, you have 30 seconds to disarm the alarm by entering your passcode. This will cancel the alarm, resume normal operation of the system, and halt further action. If the passcode is not entered within 30 seconds, ADT Monitoring Centers will be notified, and they will call the Primary Contact.
To disable the alarm on the KeyPad first press the Code Button (marked with a C on your KeyPad) and input your four digit code followed by the disarm button. The disarm button is located in the middle of the bottom row on the KeyPad.

Most home monitoring services will automatically dispatch local police if your system loses power. Disconnecting wiring or causing the old system to lose power may set off a false alarm, resulting in an unnecessary emergency response that could land you with a fine.
The short answer is that when the ADT alarm goes off, the ADT monitoring station immediately contacts the home or business owner at 1-2 phone numbers and then notifies the authorities if they don't get an answer with the correct password on the account.
To disarm, press the “Disarm” button, followed by your 4 digit master code. o Keychain: You may also use your keyfob/remote to disarm the system. You can do this outside your home before you come in, or after you enter your home. If you do it after you enter, you will have only 30 seconds to disarm the system.
When a developer or user enables Sensors off in developer options (Settings > System > Developer options > Quick settings developer tiles), a new tile appears in the quick settings tray. They can use the tile to prevent apps from accessing the camera, microphone, and all sensors managed by the SensorManager class.
For many of our most popular systems, beeping alarms and low battery trouble beeps can be silenced by pressing the [OFF] or [#] buttons from the keypad. If this does not work, please refer to your security system manual for specific instructions.
On the touchscreen, tap [Disarm] + enter [security code]. Then tap [Disarm] + enter [security code].
Kill the power – if all else fails, a last-ditch option to disable your car alarm is to starve it of power by disconnecting the battery. One simple way of doing this is to remove the negative (black) battery connector from the battery.
You can turn off or power down your home alarm system by disconnecting its backup battery and then unplugging the transformer for the device from the wall outlet.
