TempShield™ double-wall insulation protects temperature from the outside elements. Cold drinks stay freezing cold up to 24 hours. Hot stays really hot up to 6-12 hours with no sweat on the outside of the bottles. Let's dive a bit deeper into Hydro Flask's Tempshield.
The hydroflask is quite versatile and does a good job at insulating cold beverages for up to 24 hours, hot beverages up to 12 hours.
Put your Hydro Flask in the freezer: Due to the double wall vacuum insulation, the water inside will be protected from the temperature inside the freezer and won't freeze. If you want ice cold water, put some ice cubes inside your flask and notice how long it takes them to melt!
Although they're a great way to stay hydrated on the go, they can also be a breeding ground for bacteria and mold if you don't give them a good scrub every now and again. “Everything that touches our reusable water bottles can transmit bacteria.
Exceptional Temperature Control – Advanced Thermos vacuum insulation keeps beverages hot for up to 10 hours or cold for 24 hours, ensuring optimal hydration throughout your day.
Dreamhigh® Thermal Food Flask, 800ml, Soup Flask with Spoon, Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Food Container, Leak-Proof, with Carrying Bag, Keep Hot/Cold for 12 Hours (Black)
It keeps your drink COLD for 18 HOURS! It's created with the Thermos quality and performance everyone relies on, insulated to keep that heat out and whatever is inside cold. Add some ice for the extra chill and we promise you it won't disappear in an instant!
Hydro Cell can keep your drinks hot for about 8 hours and cold for 24 hours. So if you are planning to go for a day-long trip, you may want to bring an insulated stainless steel bottle with you.
The moisture in the air and the surface of the bottle provides the ideal environment for mold spores to germinate and grow. Once mold starts to grow in a stainless steel water bottle, it can be difficult to get rid of. Mold has a strong odor that can be hard to remove, even after washing the bottle thoroughly.
I think I see rust in my bottle, how do I clean it? Stainless Steel is not rust proof, but it is rust resistant. If you see rust it can be removed by using a mixture of baking soda and vinegar on the rust spot, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then scrub with a soft sponge or bottle brush.
Our tests favored Hydro Flask (it's one of our winners, in fact). It has excellent cold retention and a convenient straw lid and it can fit in your car's cup holder easily. However, Yeti water bottles are also good—if you prefer that chug-style cap. And you'd be equally happy with its cold retention and durability.
A: I do put ice in my hydro flask before adding water! I typically put a few cubes in it and it will last for the day while I'm at work (a 9-5 job). I wouldn't overfill it past the lip with water/ice as it will spill out everywhere. At the end of the day it's your preference to how much ice you'd like to put in it.
Can I bring in my own snacks? No, outside food and drinks are not permitted.
A: Yes-meaning it doesn't 'damage' the container. but if it's closed (capped) then it won't make your drink any cooler though- probably leave it open while in the fridge to make your bevarege inside it cold, like how you will expect a normal beverage to cool while inside the fridge.
If you want a water bottle that will keep your water truly cold for hours, Stanley is the brand for you. However, for a water bottle that can withstand bumps, bruises and being knocked over, you might want to invest in a Hydro Flask.
To hit the daily recommended amount of water, gals need to drink about five bottles over the course of a day, and guys need to drink about six and a half. With the 24-oz. size, you're looking at about four full bottles for gals and five for guys.
Hydro Flask gear is created to last a lifetime of adventures. Our Let's Go™ Promise guarantees our products.
Bacteria Growth: Any trapped moisture in the lid or crevices of your Hydro Flask can become a breeding ground for bacteria, leading to unpleasant smells.
Daily cleanings with soap and hot water are recommended to maintain your Hydro Flask, but occasionally you will need to do a deeper cleaning to get rid of bacteria and stubborn stains.

According to Krogh, even an open glass of water that has been standing out for a number of days is safe to drink, provided it hasn't been contaminated with bacteria from dirty hands or saliva. It may taste flat and odd, but it is still safe to consume.
Dairy products: Milk, cream, and other dairy products can spoil quickly and leave behind an unpleasant odor or taste. It is not recommended to put these types of liquids in Hydro Flasks.
The flask is designed to keep liquids hot or cold for up to 24 hours, making it a popular choice for those who want to keep their drinks at the perfect temperature for extended periods.
It depends upon the outside temperature and the temperature of the water when you add the ice. The manufacturer says 18 hours and I have had it last that long in my air conditioned home. I have had it last 24+ hours in the fridge. But, in warmer settings, 6 -12 hours is more realistic.
