Daytime Privacy and Reflective Window Film.

Adhesive Window Film
A simple frosted glass window can be easily achieved by trimming a piece of the window film to size, removing the adhesive backing and using a flat tool (like a credit card) to extract bubbles between the glass and the film.
Privacy films reduce visibility through the glass. Privacy film for flat-glass commercial and residential applications may be silvered, offering an unimpeded view from the low-light side but virtually no view from the high-light side. There are two main ways in which applying film to your glass can deliver privacy. The Effects of Window Film on Light Levels
On the other hand, if you require more privacy but don't need as much natural light then you may choose a higher level of opacity. In either case, the application of window film will not make your rooms drastically darker unless you choose an extremely high level of opacity.
With frosted and textured glass, the obscuring feature is part of the glass so it will never become fully see-through. However, a light in the room may reduce its effectiveness. It may also allow people outside to see more definition and colour at night.
Frosted glass is arguably the type of privacy glass that most people imagine.. It is produced by sandblasting or acid etching one surface of a glass pane to create pitted indentations. As with ground glass, this has the effect of scattering light rays and therefore making the glass translucent rather than transparent.
