Simply unplug the power cord to your Base Station and, while unplugged, remove a battery (you'll need a screwdriver to get to the battery compartment). Wait a few seconds, and then put the battery back in and plug in the power cord - the Base Station will then come back on.
If the Test Mode step does not work, your sensor may have been offline for too long. The best step would be to remove the sensor from the SimpliSafe® App and then add it back to your system.
Most security cameras come with a dedicated reset button. This button is usually small and recessed, requiring a pin or paperclip to press. Locate this button on your camera.
Confirm that the camera app has the necessary permissions
Your camera app needs authorizations, called “permissions," to allow it to function and save images to your device or the cloud. Occasionally, a recent app update can throw off these permissions.
The app error “Connection Error” can occur both during setup or in a post setup state for SimpliSafe® cameras. It indicates that there is an issue with the camera connecting to the system and requires a reset of the camera to clear the error message.
If your Outdoor Camera is not responding, it's likely due to either a low or dead battery or the camera is unable to connect to Wi-Fi. Please note that SimpliSafe® systems and cameras require 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.

To reset the laptop use a paperclip and press the pinhole reset for 10 seconds. Afterwards, connect your charger and power on the laptop. The pinhole is located on the bottom of the laptop. The exactly pinhole location can vary by model.
Rebooting your security camera will release its cache to flush, re-calibrate the settings, and revise connections. Directly unplug the security camera from its power supply then wait for a few seconds before plugging it again. This will reboot it.
Unplug the Camera and Reconnect It with the Power Source
You can simply unplug the security camera and reconnect it to the power source. Also, make sure that the cable is not physically broken. If your power is working but the security camera is still offline, try plugging it into a different outlet.
Some devices with physical user interfaces may use the Power and Home buttons. Samsung devices: Hold Volume Up, Home, and Power at the same time. Google Pixel: Hold Volume Down and Power at the same time. When you see the Android logo, press and hold the Power key, and then press the Volume Up key once.
Reset All Settings: All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.

Regarding the Outdoor Cameras, as a first step I would recommend resetting each camera by pressing and holding the reset button on the back for 30 seconds. Once you release the button, you'll be prompted to set the camera back up in the SimpliSafe mobile app.
Choose My System from the navigation menu at the bottom of the app screen. Select Base Station Settings. Tap on 'WiFi Network' Choose either 'Yes, Connect' or 'Choose Another Network' to proceed.
