Use Purple or Blue Shampoos

Use an apple cider vinegar toning rinse
This homespun method is a long-term way of gently fixing orange hair. Add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into one litre of lukewarm water, then add a couple of drops of liquid food colouring - use blue for orange hair, and purple for more yellow.
Pine takes on a pale yellow-orange tone after exposure to sunlight. Most finishes exacerbate the problem leaving wood which ages to a "cigarette yellow" tone. The best way to create a pale bleached effect is to treat with a thin coat of diluted White Wood Dye after sanding.
Orange-toned wood + blue: As these colors are directly opposite each other on the color wheel, bright, intense blue will highlight orange tones in the wood.
Wood dyes are more easily absorbed into the tighter grain of maple and provide a darker color. However, if you want the benefits of a stain, then you can turn to a lighter gel-based stain.
You could sand the wood manually using your hands, but this can be time consuming and produce an uneven surface texture. A orbital sander will get the job done faster and produce more even results. Once you're done sanding the cabinets, be sure to also sand down the wall boxes, doors, and drawers as well.
