Summary: your mainline will be clogged IF 1) you hear a gurgle and all water drains from your toilet bowls, 2) your bathtub backs up/won't drain, 3) drainage pipe leaks, and 4) if you have visible solid in your mainline access.
When you start to notice a drop in water pressure in your home, or if water ceases coming out of some taps entirely, you may have water supply line clogs. Unclogging them requires professional plumbers: there's no plunger you can use to affect an incoming water line!
You Hear a Gurgling Sound When Water is Flowing
The most prominent sign that your pipes are clogged is a reduced flow rate. Whether it is your shower pipe, faucet, or drain if you see that the water does not flow as fast as it should then you're most probably dealing with some sort of blockage in the pipes.
While these sounds can be scary and seem like serious issues, the cause is usually quite benign. Most often, a loud sound coming from your pipes is caused by trapped air. By turning off your main water supply and running all faucets for 10-15 minutes, you force any trapped air through your water pipes.
Flush cold water.
Run all cold-water faucets on the property beginning with the faucet closest to the water line. Let all run at the highest flow (or fully open) until water is clear and temperature is constant. Then turn off all faucets in reverse order.
DIY Solutions for Clearing Blocked Water Pipes

If no water comes out the opening with all of the fill valve parts removed, then there is a clog in the line to the fill valve. The next step is to shut off the water and remove the supply line from the bottom of the toilet, then redirect the supply line into your small bowl and turn the valve back on.
#1: Use baking soda and vinegar
Simply mix one-third of a cup of vinegar with one-third of a cup of baking soda and when it starts to fizz, quickly pour it down your clogged drain. Let it sit for an hour or more (or overnight if you suspect the blockage is really bad) and then flush with hot water.
A plunger works to unclog the main sewer line because it creates an airtight seal with the drain. In the process, it helps force the stubborn clog out of the plumbing system drains.
For indoor main drains, you will likely find the cleanout in a bathroom or utility area. When dealing with a bathroom location, check the floor near the toilet. To start the process, make sure your main line sewer cleanout is clear of debris and liquid. Next, insert the test ball and inflate it so that it blocks the main line. Fill the sewer system with water and observe the water level for 15-20 minutes.
Changes in Water Pressure
Water pressure changes or changes in water flow are one of the most immediate signs of a clogged pipe. This indicates that part of the pipe is cracked or broken or, more commonly, you may have a troublesome clog that's inhibiting the flow and creating a blockage.
More than one of your drains is running slowly or appears clogged. A clog in your bathroom sink is one thing. A clog in every sink, shower, and bathtub in the house is a sign of a giant clog wreaking havoc on all your drains at the same time. You hear gurgling or bubbling sounds when you flush the toilet or run water.

If your well can't get enough water supply due to drought, the pump system will suck in air as it functions. The trapped air will make its way into your piping and faucets. The problem will persist for as long as the drought continues.
STEP 1: Turn off your water supply at the mains. STEP 2: Turn on every tap in the house, starting at the top and working your way downstairs. STEP 3: Wait for the water to stop flowing out of the taps. STEP 4: Now flush all the toilets until no water is left there either.
