Press the program button the number of times that matches the code position. For example, if you want to program User Code 2, press the program button twice. Many Kwikset locks hold 4 User Codes, but some hold as many as 30 at once. The program button is a small black button in the battery compartment of the lock.
Find the reset key in the back of the smart lock
Open your door with the fingerprint or your key, and slide up the cover to open the back of your lock, exposing the buttons beneath. You can see a small button near the battery. Just like the below image, the reset button is on the top-left of the battery.
To factory reset a locked Android phone, you can use the Recovery Mode. Turn off the device, press and hold the Volume Up, Home, and Power buttons simultaneously. When the Android logo appears, release all buttons, and navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset" using the Volume buttons.

Deleting a user code In order to delete a user code, you must override the code by adding a different user code in the same position. For example, if you want to delete the third code, add a different user code in position three. NOTE: Test the old user code to make sure it can no longer unlock the door.

If unsuccessful, the Kwikset button will flash red 3 times and you will hear 3 beeps. Note: If the lock is muted, you will not hear the lock beeping. Delete User Codes:The lock is pre-programmed with a default User Code of 1-2-3-4.
