Every brand of oven is slightly different, but many have a process that will reset the oven's computer panel and trigger the oven door to unlock. It may be something like pressing the “Clock” button and the “Clear/Off” button at the same time for 10 seconds, or holding down on the “Child Lock” button for 30 seconds.
When your oven is locked, this is a safety feature that is done during the self-cleaning cycle. As the oven gets so hot inside to burn away excess food and greases, it is a hazard. To prevent injury or other issues, the oven will lock the door until the cycle is complete.
There are some Ranges which have a Lock Controls feature. The Lock Controls feature on an Electric, Gas or Dual Fuel Range locks out the oven control panel so that pressing the pads does not activate the electronic controls. This will not keep you from using surface burners that are controlled by knobs.
The Gas/Control Lockout feature on a Gas Range or Dual Fuel Range disables the surface burners and oven. The oven control panel is locked so pressing the buttons/pads does not activate the controls.
Use a wire hanger.
Unfold a wire hanger and create a hook that you can use to flip the switch. Slide the flat hook through the area between the door and the main part of GE oven. Place the hook over the latch. Pull gently to release the lock.

The oven will need to cool to approximately 200°F (95°C) before the door will open. Allow the oven to cool, for approximately 30-90 minutes, move the latch arm to the left to unlock the door.
If your oven displays SAFE or a PADLOCK symbol: CHILD LOCK is activated. PYROLYTIC CLEANING is running (when the oven cools down to a safe temperature the door will automatically unlock) FUNCTION LOCK is activated.
Turn the circuit breaker to the OFF position or remove the fuse. Wait one minute, then turn the circuit breaker back to the ON position or install the fuse to reset power to the appliance. This should reset the electronic controls on the Range or Wall Oven.

If the oven has a manual latch handle:
Allow the oven to cool, approximately 30-90 minutes, move the latch arm to the left to unlock the door. If the latch arm will not move after cooling to room temperature or is stuck between the full right and full left positions, schedule service.
Oven Door Has Been Locked Accidentally
If that does not unlock the door, run a short Self-Clean cycle (1-2 hours). For ranges with electronic oven controls, there is a small chance that turning the circuit breaker off for a few minutes and turning it back on can release the door latch switch and unlock the door.
As a safety precaution, your Samsung range's door will lock when the oven gets too hot. This is to prevent any possible injuries. If your oven is cool, then you may have Child Lock turned on or need to power cycle the range to unlock the door.
Use the comb to pick out loops and tangles within each lock. Start at the bottom and gradually work your way up the rest of the lock. Comb out the loosened hair after every 1 inch (2.5 cm) or so. Repeat this process on each dread, working one at a time, until all the locks have been undone.
The lock feature shuts down the control pads (buttons) and locks the oven door to avoid unintended use of the oven. The lock feature is preset unlocked, but can be locked. If the oven is currently in use, the controls and oven door cannot be locked.
To activate /deactivate the key lock press and hold the plus button for approx 5 seconds. The keylock will disappear and the clock can be adjusted.
LOC means the control panel is locked. Per the Use and Care Guide: 1. Check that the oven and cooktop are off. 2. Press and hold CONTROL LOCK for 3 seconds.
