Using a toilet bowl cleaner, for example Lime-A-Way® or Clorox®, hold the flapper open and pour 1–2 cups of cleaning solution down the flush valve opening. Be careful to not let any cleaner spill over into the tank. If it does, wipe it up immediately. Let the toilet sit unused for several hours or overnight.
To increase toilet flush power, you can adjust the water level in the tank to 1/2 inch below the flush valve. Adjust the chain length to 1/4 inch of slack. Get an adjustable flap. Clogged Rim Jets. Rim jets are small holes located underneath the toilet's rim that allow water to flow into the bowl during a flush. Over time, mineral deposits, bacteria, and debris can clog these jets, reducing water flow and flushing power.
If your toilet won't flush fully, try to identify the cause of the problem. Plunging the toilet, adjusting the water level in the tank, or replacing the flapper valve may help fix the problem. But if these solutions don't work or you're unsure what to do, enlist professional help.
Heat 1 to 1 ½ cups of white vinegar to about the same temperature you'd take your coffee – not scalding, but warm enough. Add it to the overflow tube and give it about 30 minutes to work. Flush, then go to work on the jet holes, chipping away the scale with something small but solid.
The vinegar dissolves the calcium (hard water build up) in the flush ring and the siphon jet, allowing the toilet to once again work as designed. Annual treatment could be necessary. Depending on the amount of hard water build up, repeated applications may be required.
The hallmark of a quality toilet is having enough flushing power for waste and toilet paper. A flush performance rating system classifies toilets from low to high based on their ability to remove solid waste and resist clogging. Look for these scores displayed on product packaging and on signs in your local store.

Check the water level:
This cause by far the most common reason for slow flushing toilets. If the water in the tank is not up to the recommended level, you may have poor flushing power.
The bidet spray's water pressure can be raised by turning the regulator's knob in a clockwise direction. The pressure regulator may occasionally develop problems or sustain damage. For this reason, it is advised to change the pressure regulator as soon as possible in order to boost water pressure.
When the toilet is clogged, it's often possible to unclog the toilet with dish soap. Liquid dish soap is denser than water, so when dish soap is added to water, it sinks. 1 After the dish soap settles, it loosens the obstruction.
If the water level is too low, the toilet won't flush properly. Gently move the ball valve up and down. Check the lift chain is connected properly and that the flapper is seated correctly. It could be that the toilet is blocked.
Pour Water Into the Bowl
You still have another option to flush your toilet by filling the bowl with water. For this step, you'll need to move fast. This is called the “gravity flush,” and all you need to do is quickly pour about 1.6 gallons of water into your toilet bowl.
It's generally explained that a flush beats a straight in Texas holdem because the probability of flopping a flush (0.20%) is lower than the probability of flopping a straight (0.39%). The lower probability outcome earns the higher ranking.
Low water level in the toilet bowl
The root of the toilet's weak flush could be low water levels in the toilet bowl. Even if the water level in the toilet tank is optimal, you will still experience a weak flush if the water level in the bowl is low.
You can use straight or a diluted vinegar cleaning solution for the bathroom to clean bacteria, especially around the toilet. Cleaning with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar in the bathroom can work really well. To clean your toilet with vinegar, pour a cup of vinegar in the toilet bowl and let sit overnight.
Clean Clogged Jet Holes
Clean the jet holes with vinegar or dishwashing soap. An alternative to cleaning the jet holes is pouring vinegar down the overflow tube. Let the vinegar sit there overnight. Flush the toilet the next day.
A lye-based drain cleaner, that's usually the most common kind. Many times straight chlorine bleach will work, but do not mix with anything else—-AT ALL!
The best cleaner for toilet bowl jets is a mix of bleach and water followed by a chemical toilet bowl cleaner. However, the best cleaner for toilet bowl jets caked with mineral deposits is hot vinegar.
