Clean your microfiber couch regularly with a quick vacuum, using your vacuum's upholstery attachment. You can also use a stiff fabric brush ($10, Amazon) to loosen dirt and restore the fabric. Do your best to keep the surface free of crumbs, dust, and anything that might harm the fabric.

Every time I use this homemade solution my couch looks brand new. Combine 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 cup warm water and 2 to 3 drops of natural liquid soap, such as Palmolive, in a spray bottle. Shake the bottle vigorously to combine the ingredients. Spray the stained area with the solution.

Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water for a super simple stain removal solution. Wet a clean microfiber cloth and blot the stain. To remove the vinegar smell, add a few drops of dish detergent to lukewarm water and spritz onto the area. Let dry.
Those hardened melamine resin threads are sharp when broken — similar to shards of glass. When you rub Magic Eraser across a surface, the blend of melamine resin and those microscopic air bubbles work together to clean, unlike any other product.
To get rid of smell in couch, sprinkle baking soda generously on cushions, in crevices, and especially on areas with a stain. Give the baking soda some time to work –about an hour or so — then vacuum up the remains.
Baking soda is an extremely effective natural odor remover, and you can use it to get lingering bad dog smell out of your sofa. Simply sprinkle baking soda over the fabric and let it sit overnight. This is a big NO. “Windex shouldn't be used on granite or marble kitchen tops. Cleaners like Windex can etch or dull the surfaces of natural stone,” says Rick Glickman, president of Dream Kitchens, a design studio in Highland Park, Illinois.
