Sugar soap will also not kill mould lurking behind walls, under floorboards or in ceiling cavities. If you're using it in its liquid form you'll need to be very careful to avoid getting power outlets wet or letting it drip onto more delicate surfaces such as furniture and fabrics.
Does dish soap stain carpet? Yes, it will stain carpet as dishwashing soap contain dyes that can permeate on the carpet fibers. It's essential to act fast when dealing with it. A wet/dry vacuum will help remove soap residue and cut down the extraction time.

Add 1 part FAST SUGAR SOAP to 10 parts hot water (use un- diluted for difficult or very dirty surfaces) for a soapy solution. Dab on surface with cloth or sponge. Allow to soak in to the dirt.

The very best way to keep carpeting looking fresh and new is to deep-clean it regularly using a steam cleaner. Steam cleaning involves using a cleaning solution under pressure injected deep into the carpet via water-jet nozzles.
Rubbing alcohol is another safe and effective solution for removing soap and detergent residue. It can also help remove other types of stains, including coffee, wine, pet urine, and mud. Pour some rubbing alcohol into a shallow dish or bowl. Then take a scrubber brush and dip it onto the rubbing alcohol.
