The Wi-Fi-powered Halo lock skips past traditional low-power wireless standards like Z-Wave, Bluetooth LE or Zigbee. It connects straight to the internet with no bridging hardware.
Most Kwikset locks have a learn button that is labeled "A". This button is found underneath the device's cover, and it is used for including and excluding from the Z-Wave network. It is usually a smaller button, and it should not be confused with the "B" button or the "Program" button.

The Kwikset Home Connect 620 is a Z-Wave 700 Smart Lock with a 10-digit keypad.

An eKey can only be assigned to one person at a time. To reassign an eKey, an Owner or Admin user must delete an eKey from one user in order to send it to another user. As a security measure, each lock user should set up their own unique Kevo account.

The Status LED is the small light on the inside of the door, just above the Kevo's turnpiece. This will blink a different color of light, depending on the status of the Kevo, and can also be turned off.
The keypad will light up when the lock button is pressed as well.

The Kwikset App is exclusively for use with Kwikset Halo, Halo Touch, and Aura smart locks.
Smartcode 916 does not have it's own Kwikset app. A smart hub connection will always be needed for locking/unlocking operations either in the Bluetooth range or remotely while you are away from home.
