Lower corner: Likely the most common location for shaker cabinet knobs and pulls is the lower corner on the side of the cabinet that opens. These will usually be around an inch from the edge of the door, with both horizontal and vertical pull options depending on your style.
Wooden Knobs
Shaker cabinets are a timeless, traditional design and as such they are most suited to traditional, country style and in modern homes. Therefore, traditional handles such as wooden knobs provide a fitting, and perfect finishing touch to shaker cabinets.

Knobs bring a warm character to a space, as they remind you of rustic or farmhouse styles. Knobs also tend to wear washed earthy metals a bit better. Of course, though, there is no rule that you can't make this hardware work with other styles. Modern styles generally look great with cabinet door pulls.
EASED EDGE
Also called a standard edge, this minimalist style features a squared, straight edge on both the top and underside of the countertop. The eased edge delivers a clean, modern look that goes well with popular flat-panel and Shaker cabinet designs.
What usually looks best is a pull length that is about 1/3 the height of the cabinet door and 1/3 the width of the cabinet drawer. Your eyes follow the length of the pull up the height of the door or across the width of the drawer. Pulls don't have to all be the same length as long as the pull design is the same.
There is no right or wrong size to choose, but we do recommend choosing pulls that have at least a 3-3/4" center to center (the distance between the screw holes). This size looks pleasing on most cabinets, while still being large enough to grip comfortably. 5" - 6.5" pulls are also an excellent choice.
