The secret behind these types of erasers is a material commonly called melamine foam. With just a little water, melamine foam can dig in and destroy stains that other products can't touch.
For stubborn stains, you can use a magic eraser sponge, these are safe to use and will not damage the surface of your tub.
Another option is Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, a textured melamine sponge that's tough on dirt all around the house, especially in the bathtub as a soap scum remover. Simply wet the shower doors, wet the sponge, then scrub or spot clean.
If you have soft surface countertops like granite or marble, step away from the magic eraser. You can use them on laminate, Corian, quartz, and other solid surface countertops, but do a spot check.
