For non-major spills you can spot clean the rug. Your Ruggable Rug Cover is stain-resistant and contains an internal waterproof barrier. You can spot-clean or machine-wash it depending on the accident type. For major stains or accidents, we recommend washing your Rug Cover immediately.
Ruggable is a 2-piece system that features a lightweight Rug Cover and a non-slip Rug Pad. All our Covers are water resistant, stain-resistant and can be detached and reattached to its Pad without losing its grip, so you can put them in the wash as often as you need.
Editor's Note: Ruggable rugs can be placed in bathrooms and powder rooms. However, while our rugs are water-resistant, they are not water-absorbent. We don't suggest using our standard chenille or plush rugs in place of a bath mat.
For wet messes, spot-clean the area with soap and water using a washcloth or towel, then allow the Pad to dry laying flat.

Our Classic and Cushioned Rug Pads consist of a 100% recycled polyester surface and a thermoplastic rubber bottom, a latex-free, synthetic material most commonly used in yoga mats. Our Cushioned Rug Pads have an additional 100% recycled polyester middle layer for added cushion.

Can you wash the bottom (rug pad) of a Ruggable? Ruggable rug pads can not be washed in the washing machine. However, if your rug pad is dirty, you can certainly clean it! Wipe it down with a clean rag and mild detergent, and then let it dry.
The fastest way to fix a curling corner is with the help of steam. If you already own a steam cleaner, you can use it to gently moisten your rug corners. This will loosen the fibers, making it relax and lay flat.

Our Outdoor Rug Covers are water-resistant and should hold up just fine when left outside in the rain. However, even though they are naturally mildew and mold-resistant, our Outdoor Rug Covers should not be left sitting wet for prolonged periods of time.
The Outdoor Rug Cover is built with UV-resistance in mind, but prolonged exposure to the sun will cause fading over time.
The 100% polypropylene yarn is specially treated to withstand rain, sunshine, and other outdoor elements and is even washable by hose.
