It is exactly the same price per gallon, seems to offer better dilution ratios, and has a pH of 9.5 which is much less alkaline than Zep Citrus's 12.0 rating. Simple Green is approved for auto wheels, and even washing the entire vehicle at the correct ratios.
Directions for Cleaning Garage Floors:
Clean your garage floor first by sweeping to remove dirt, leaves, grass clippings, dead bugs, efflorescence, etc. Apply Simple Green Oxy Solve Concrete and Driveway Cleaner. Mix 2 cups of Simple Green with 1 gallon of warm water in a separate container. Scrub.
Rinse the concrete clean with a hose. Vinegar can also be used to rid of algae. Use a mixture of water and white vinegar to spray down the area and kill the algae. Rinse the surface alga off the concrete with a water hose.
Bleach. If your concrete is dull and sprouting weeds or mold, bleach is your best option for cleaning and brightening concrete. Mix a cup of bleach into a 5-gallon bucket of warm water, then spray or pour over concrete. Rinse thoroughly with water.
Apply solution. Leave on heavy soils for 1-2 minutes. Scrub if needed. Rinse or damp-wipe with clean water.
Bronner's castile soap is our favorite non-specialized product for surface cleaning indoor concrete floors. Dr. Bronner's is a nearly pH-neutral cleaner that comes in a variety of natural scents. Because the soap is concentrated, a few drops in a gallon of water is plenty.

But that's not all; chlorine bleach can also be used for cleaning the concrete driveway. Of course, you should dilute it with equal parts of water or a 1:1 ratio. With the mixture ready, spray it on the driveway, allowing it to sit for 10 minutes. Then, use a stiff brush before rinsing with clean water.
