Light colors: Use P240 grit sandpaper or 60μ paper to remove scratch. Wash and follow by P400 grit or 30μ paper. Wash to remove residue, then follow by buffing with a Scotch-Brite™ 7448 S ULF (gray) pad in a circular motion. Dark colors: Use P240 grit sandpaper or 80μ paper to remove scratch.
Depending on depth of scratches begin sanding with 120 or 150 grit paper. It is important to follow the sanding path “North – South, East – West” as detailed below for each sanding step. Sand with 180 grit and clean top with denatured alcohol or water. If scratches remain, Repeat Step 3.
