Smartcode 916 does not have it's own Kwikset app. A smart hub connection will always be needed for locking/unlocking operations either in the Bluetooth range or remotely while you are away from home.

Now, all you have to say is “Alexa, unlock the front door” (or whatever you named your smart lock). Alexa will then ask you for your voice code. Say the code, and your door should unlock! You can also still lock your doors using your voice, and you don't need a voice code for that.
Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings screen and select the Echo Auto entry. Tap the device to connect it, if it's not already connected. Return to the setup in the Alexa app and tap Continue. Now set your car's stereo input to Bluetooth and tap Continue.
