Black mould growth on silicone sealant is not uncommon but if the area is not cleaned regularly, moisture and condensation can build up and create a higher chance for mould to spread. Here are some of the most common causes of black mould growth on silicone sealant: Too many products kept in the shower or bath.
Mix bleach and baking soda to create a paste. Use a toothbrush or spoon to spread it on the caulk. It should stick if it drips use a wet paper towel to help you keep it in place let it soak for several hours or overnight. Then use a nice strong brush start to scrub the stuff off. It should be nice and white.
Twist some toilet roll into a rope, lay it on the sealant, pour a bit of bleach on, leave overnight. Works like a charm.

While sealant removers and methylated spirits are often sufficient to remove the silicone sealant, some parts of the silicone may still refuse to budge. To get rid of stubborn sealant, try applying heat using a heat gun or a hair dryer.
Black grout can also be mold and mildew, which forms where there's moisture or high humidity. Mold is a type of fungus. Unsurprisingly, it's not good for your health.
For this you will need white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. First, try undiluted white vinegar applied directly onto the sealant or if preferred, it can be diluted at a ratio of two parts vinegar to one part water. Leave it to sit for half an hour or even overnight for larger, denser areas of mould.
Adding new caulk to a fresh, uncaulked surface is always recommended. Don't attempt to recaulk your tub, sink, or shower by adding new adding caulk over caulking.
