Freezer drawers inside most fridges are made of plastic, which means they can become brittle when cold and crack easily. If your freezer drawer fronts have become cracked or damaged, they will need to be replaced.
What causes the Drawers to Break? Plastic is always more likely to break if it's very cold, but the main cause of them breaking is the user forcing them open or closed when they are jamming because of excessive ice surrounding them. Overfilling the drawers with food also makes them much more likely to break.
To lubricate your drawers and tracks, you have to use FDA-approved food-grade lubricants to prevent food contamination and damage to the rails. The ones you can safely use are pure paraffin wax, petroleum jelly, and mineral oil.
Freezer drawer fronts are usually made from plastic and can become brittle when cold and crack easily! Without a complete, functioning freezer drawer, bags of food inside your freezer may become snagged, ripped and damaged.
Yep, definitely normal wear and tear. The plastic gets brittle and always cracks.
I have used Epoxy Glue in the past to successfully repair cracked freezer drawers. BUT I used Araldite Epoxy Glue.
Extent of Damage
The exact type of damage may be as important as the extent of the damage when evaluating whether it's ordinary wear and tear or not. For example, two or three small nail holes in a wall may be considered ordinary wear and tear. But dozens of nail holes may be considered abuse.
Fortunately, freezer drawer fronts can be purchased separately from freezer drawers and are easily replaceable. Read on to learn how to replace your freezer drawer fronts quickly and easily! Please note that this process may differ slightly depending on your particular model of fridge freezer.
Epoxy is a glue that hardens into plastic as it cures. It can be used to fill in cracks, scrapes, nicks, and gouges. Epoxy is often used when gluing fridge shelves back together, especially if the shelf is plastic.
Food grade materials, such as aluminum foil, heavy freezer-weight plastic bags, heavy plastic wrap and parchment or freezer paper are excellent choices. It is safe to freeze meat or poultry directly in its supermarket wrapping, but this type of wrap is thin and lets air in.

Then the slide must be definitively cleaned with a slightly wet microfibre cloth. The best lubrication can be achieved with the use of WD-40 Specialist Protective White Lithium Grease, which with its dense formula allows long-lasting lubrication.
Spray WD-40 multi use product inside the fridge
Baking soda will also help eliminate the odor from spoiled food. Spray some WD-40 multi use product to deep clean and protect the inside of the refrigerator/freezer.
Dab a Q-tip in wheel bearing grease and apply along the slide's raceways. Cycle the ball retainer back and forth to spread the grease around. Note: Avoid greases with: Molybdenum sulfide.
If the upright freezer door or chest freezer lid is opened frequently or left open, cold air will escape and the freezer could get too warm. The freezer temperature will rise and the temperature alarm may sound (on models so equipped).
It's fine to use without drawers. Most of my drawers have broken over the years after becoming brittle - I don't replace them until I buy a new appliance.
These plastics are nearly impossible to glue unless you choose an adhesive that is marked specifically for use with polyethylene or polypropylene. Clear, brittle plastics like imitation glass or CD cases are usually polystyrene. A poly cement will work best on these.

These polymers may not have ideal properties for this application, but they they do perform pretty well.
Correcting a Freezer Drawer That Is Frozen Shut
Unplug the Refrigerator and allow the Freezer to defrost. This can take about 24 to 48 hours. Once defrosted, open the Freezer Drawer and wipe any moisture dry, especially the rails that the Drawer sits on.
Unlike traditional freezers, the drawer system allows for better vertical space utilization. This means more room for storing a variety of items without overcrowding.
That means he can sue one or all of you for any damage to the property regardless of who caused it. That being said, it's been a day and he's just making noise. You are going to be responsible for any costs of moving left over furniture, any necessary cleaning, and anything above reasonable wear and tear.
Landlords can typically charge tenants reasonable costs for repairing an excessive number of nail holes, beyond normal wear and tear. Small charges of $5-10 per hole to patch and repaint are common. However, minor wall damage from a few small holes for hanging pictures is expected.
Spackling paste is the best material to use to fill nail holes in either plaster walls or drywall in a long-lasting way. It is also called joint compound or patching compound. Remove any excess paste with a clean putty knife. Remove putty from the putty knife with a damp cloth.
