Sub Ohm vaping means you'll be vaping with a much higher wattage and need a coil capable of withstanding that power and heat. Mesh coils are generally better at producing more vapour and giving better flavour payoff. Traditional coils are often the kind of coil you'll find in super tiny pod mods.
0.8-1.2 will all work for you technically. 0.8 is going to give you the most vapor, but because of that it's going to give you more nicotine. I use a 1.0 for my LV Orion Q at 50 mg. 1.0 or 1.2 will both work well, that really just comes down to preference. Also yes you can dilute a 50 mg juice with a 0 mg.

All coils deteriorate eventually. If you are using a low-resistance coil at high wattages, your coil may only last 2-3 days. If you're using a higher-resistance coil at low wattages, it could last as long as two weeks.

In essence, instead of vaporising the e-liquid in your tank, the coil will be burning the wicking material inside the coil. This will produce a very unpleasant harsh and acrid taste which is something no one will want to experience.
