Place the powder in a mesh bag directly in the drum to allow it to dissolve quicker.
If you're using washing powder, it should go in the main wash compartment. This is usually the largest section of the drawer, often marked with "II" or a washing machine symbol. Pour the recommended amount of powder directly into this compartment.
Once you've measured one full scoop of detergent, you simply pour the powder from the handy measuring device into the correct compartment in the drawer of your washing machine. Do this twice for the recommended standard dose or add a third scoop in for heavily soiled clothes.

Both of these options are possible. You can measure the liquid into the Stain Eraser Ball (dosing ball) and place it at the back of the drum, on top of the load. Alternatively, you can measure the amount of liquid required by using the Stain Eraser Ball and dose the liquid into the dispensing drawer.
