In June 2016, Henkel acquired Sun Products and discontinued Wisk in favor of its own Persil brand.
To help you recover, the Kirkland brand liquid detergent sold at Costco is a similar functioning detergent to Wisk. I find it works better than liquid Wisk did, if that helps. You may like it very much. It comes in scented and unscented. I use the unscented variety often.
Wisk Concentrated Laundry Detergent-discontinued.
In June 2016, Henkel acquired Sun Products, the manufacturer of Wisk, and soon discontinued Wisk and replaced it with Persil.

Sub in: Two forks.
Whisks add in air when you're blending ingredients such as eggs and whipping cream. If you don't have a whisk handy, you can achieve the same effect by taping together two forks. Find forks with the same-sized handles and tines.
Persil laundry detergent has gotten a facelift. As part of a rebranding effort, the Henkel-owned laundry detergent brand has also rolled out new formulas that help keep clothes looking newer, longer. “Our consumers care about their clothes, and that matters to us,” said Matt Kutnick, marketing director of Persil.
Persil advert banned for misleading green claims. Unilever's advert for one of its laundry detergents, Persil, has been banned for being misleading about its environmental benefits. The television advert said Persil was "kinder to our planet", and featured children picking up litter on a beach.

Persil, introduced by the German company Henkel in 1907 was the world's first laundry powder. The name derives from perborate and silicate, two key components in the product.

On average, Persil removes an average of 2% more stains than Tide detergents—and that's why it's our top-ranked liquid laundry detergent. Persil has been on sale in the U.S. since mid-2015, but it has long been a best-selling laundry detergent in Europe.
Wisk was an American brand of laundry detergent manufactured in the United States by Unilever (1956 to 2008) and Sun Products (2008 to 2017).
Persil got its name from its original ingredients: 'Per' from Perborate and 'Sil' from Silicate. Originally the Persil powder had to be stirred into a paste before use. Lever Brothers (now known as Unilever) bought the company in 1919 and supplied the product to the UK.
Do not combine baking soda and vinegar in the same cycle when doing laundry. If combined, the individual benefits cancel each other out in the wash or rinse water and do not impact laundry cleanliness. Neither is effective alone as a substitute for a well-balanced laundry detergent.

But price is a consideration and therefore, Tide is the clear winner based on value.
I noticed that the ingredients panel is different to my existing Persil – what is new about this liquid? The formulation has been completely redesigned and improved. It now tackles a much wider range of stains than the previous formulation and therefore includes a few new ingredients.
A: I noticed that Persil came on the market when Wisk was no longer available.
