Green mold on concrete can be removed with bleach, water, and dish soap.
Then mix three-fourths to a cup of bleach with one gallon of water, and sponge it onto all the areas where you see the green stains. Keep sponging on more as needed so the concrete stays wet for five to 10 minutes. Scrub with a synthetic brush, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat the process if the concrete is still stained.
Vinegar Solution
Vinegar is the perfect option in such cases. Used similarly to bleach, vinegar is known to kill many species of fungus including harmful mold. Spraying a vinegar solution (1 cup of vinegar per gallon of water) onto the surface, saturating it fully, should kill most strains of mold.
Vinegar is a natural and safe alternative to cleaning concrete with harsh chemicals. In the case of algae and mold, it does a better job than bleach, and it is better in the long term for killing these infestations. Oftentimes, vinegar can be found in your home or garage.
As much as vinegar can remove mold, there's no reason why it should not work on removing algae from your concrete. Just like mold, algae also dies when it encounters vinegar. You can put the vinegar directly onto the concrete or dilute it first. You can then scrub the concrete with the sponge and rinse it with water.
